If the NFL believes game balls must meet certain specifications: size, weight, and perhaps most importantly, PSI, why allow teams to control or modify game balls at all? The NFL itself, via the officiating staff, should furnish game balls. Period. Letting teams control or modify game balls prior to kickoff is unreasonable. Change the rule.
